We are not your average B&B.

The Runaway is a community-oriented luxury bed & breakfast (lunch & dinner) on Jamaica’s North Coast, focused on amazing local food and curated cultural experiences. We offer a richly multisensory, personalized getaway with an effective balance of adventure and relaxation.

With a flood of pre-bookings, we became the first and only successfully-funded B&B on Kickstarter and welcomed our first guests Winter 2015. Don’t miss your chance to run away--book your stay now.

We take food seriously.

The Runaway doesn't stop at breakfast--delicious lunches and dinners are also available. That’s why we like to think of ourselves as a “Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner,” or BLD for short. We offer authentic, hyper-local dishes with a progressive take on classic Jamaican flavors and custom-designed, seasonal menus that can accommodate all dietary needs. With our chef-developed home-cooking, organic rooftop garden and intimate cooking classes, you’re sure to get the real taste of Jamaica.

We encourage work, rest and play.

The Runaway is a private four bedroom + four bathroom home tucked away between lush mountains and the Caribbean Sea. We are an energizing environment for the entrepreneur needing a change of scenery or the group of friends looking for a quick weekend getaway. We apply a people-first approach that balances comfort, design, technology and connectivity.
